A Little More About Robert Driscoll
I have engaged as primary trial counsel in over 200 cases at the District Court level involving criminal or civil issues in the States of Colorado, Texas, Nebraska, Iowa, Florida, California, Illinois, North Carolina, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, Kansas, and Ohio.
I have tried more than 50 cases in the United States District Courts in various Districts of the United States. I have tried matters ranging from misdemeanors all the way through felonies and death penalty cases.
I have acted as primary counsel in civil tort matters, contract matters, in matters involving Dissolution of Marriage as well as criminal felony matters across the range of criminal charges including complex racketeering and continuing criminal enterprise matters.
I have acted as trial counsel in a significant number of cases involving licensing and licensure sanctions and/or disbarment matters for medical license for physician and attorneys.
I have handled scores of cases and representing individuals against whom the government is seeking deportation or removal in the Immigration Court (EOIR) and at the Executive Office of Immigration Review. I have prosecuted Writs of Habeas Corpus in the United States District Courts.
I have engaged at the trial court level as co-counsel with some of the greatest lawyers this country has ever known including Roger Kiley of Chicago, IL; Percy Foreman and Richard Haines of Houston, TX; Walter Gerash of Denver, CO; Warren Bernett of Midland, TX; Joseph "Sib" Abraham of El Paso, TX; Joseph Saint-Veltri of Denver, CO; Anthony Brooklier of Los Angeles, CA; Michael Stepanian of San Francisco, CA; Mike McDonnell of Orange County, CA; Lorna Propes of Chicago, IL; John Cullerton of Chicago, IL; Bob Chaddwell of Seattle, WA; and Joe Urbaniak of Florida and Colorado.
I am on the Board of Directors of Colorado Lawyers Helping Lawyers and the Colorado Supreme Court Sanctioned Peer Support Group. I devote all available energies to providing resource to my fellow attorneys in the context of networking, support and treatment of alcohol and substance dependence among legal and medical professional and the public.
On a personal level, I was born and raised a farmer and operated a working sheep and horse ranch for decades. I am an accomplished horseman, fox hunter, and polo player. I am accomplished in all aspects of farming and ranching inlcuding Ferrier work. I am accomplished in all aspects of the construction trade from dirt work to concrete and foundations all the way through electrical pumbing, farming, brick and rock work. I have personally constructed from ground up a dozen residences including 6,000sq.ft dirt adobe hacienda and restored 7,500sq.ft Victorian home complete with gas chandeliers and fireplaces (which were recognized by the National Landmark Commission and visited and recognized by the Victorian Society and by Princess Ann of the United Kingdom in her visit to the United States). I am an avid golfer. I have been a professional skier.
